In our previous lesson Jesus was asked by the lawyer, "who is my neighbor?" This week we hear Jesus answer him with a parable, the parable of the Good Samaritan.

Luke Lesson 21 Study Questions

1.    Now by chance a certain priest came down that road: The priest and the Levite (both categories of religious officials) saw their Jewish brother lying in his terrible condition – but neither of them did _________. They both ________ by on the other side.

8.    Mary has chosen the good part, which will not be taken away from her: Mary’s good part was her simple _________ to Jesus, loving Him by __________ to His word. This was Mary’s chosen focus.

9.    Even as the disciples, we need Jesus to teach us to pray. Prayer is so _______ that the smallest child can pray, but it is so ______ that the mightiest man of God cannot be said to truly have mastered prayer.

10.    Our Father in heaven: The model prayer shows us to come to God as a Father in heaven.
