In our previous lesson Jesus was asked by the lawyer, "who is my neighbor?" This week we hear Jesus answer him with a parable, the parable of the Good Samaritan.

Luke Lesson 21 Study Questions

1.    Now by chance a certain priest came down that road: The priest and the Levite (both categories of religious officials) saw their Jewish brother lying in his terrible condition – but neither of them did _________. They both ________ by on the other side.

2.    He had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him: Instead of passing by, the Samaritan loved him ___________. 10.    Our Father in heaven: The model prayer shows us to come to God as a Father in heaven.
